They have raced in the highest levels of the sport, against the best the sport has to offer, in races all over North America. NTC instructors include Richard Steppe, Jerry Brown and Shaun Bain. Richard is an accomplished canoe and kayak racer, with ten Texas Water Safari finishes to his name. He has also raced the Triple Crown of Canoe Racing, consisting of the three richest and most prestigious events in North America, and has numerous victories and championships. Jerry is also an accomplished racer, with three Texas Water Safari class wins, and he partnered with Richard in the Triple Crown races. Richard and Jerry race together as the Evil Geezers. Shaun is a world-class adventure racer and an accomplished canoe racer, with six Texas Water Safari finishes. They have honed their technique through countless hours on the water in some of the toughest races in the world, and they can help you, too.
